Argumento: Un hombre se encuentra en medio del desierto sin memoria y con un extraño bracalete en una de sus muñecas. Se lo encuentran unos cazarecompensas que pretenden cazarlo. Los mata y se lleva sus ropas. Llega a un pueblo. En ella el hijo de un rico ganadero empieza a sembrar el caos y el le detiene. El sheriff descubre que es un criminal y le detiene. A la noche son trasladados tanto el como el chico. El ganadero los intercepta intentando rescatarlos. En ese momento el pueblo es atacado por naves extraterrestres.
Extraña mezcla de ciencia ficcion y western.
Normalmente estas mezclas raras son lo que se llama Serie B. Pero el productor es Steven Spielberg que no necesita presentacion, el director es Jon Favreau actor y director experto en cine de comics (origen de la historia) ya que dirigio y actuo en la saga Iron man y actuo en Daredevil ademas de contar con dos grandes actores de dos generaciones distintas como Daniel Craig y Harrison Ford. Todo esto incide en la calidad del producto. Ademas porque si hay peliculas de extraterrestres que vienen ahora. ¿Por que no iban a venir en otra epoca?
Esta mezcla de estos dos generos solo lo habia visto antes en Regreso al futuro parte III.
Para los fans de las mezclas raras de generos, para los que les gustan las adaptaciones de comics distintos a los superheroes.
