Sigue el estilo de las road movies. Para el que no lo sepa son peliculas en que una gente (normalmente 2) se mete en un vehiculo a la aventura cruzando los estados unidos con un objetivo (normalmente cruzar la frontera, en este caso no, aunque llegan a la frontera de Mexico. Normalmente son peliculas de accion (en este caso no, lo que es es una comedia).
Se podria decir que tambien es el estilo de extraña pareja en que los mejores eran Jack Lemmon y Walter Matthau, los comicos franceses son realmente unos expertos y se usa mucho para dar comicidad al cine de accion. Ya se sabe dos personas con formas de ser opuestas forzadas a convivir.
El director y uno de los protagonistas (el menos conocido de los dos) son tambien de la divertida pelicula Resacon en las vegas. El actor es el mas recordado (por su fisico gordo y desarrapado) de aquella disparatada pelicula.
He de mencionar que en la pelicula este personaje muestra aficion por una serie de television que me encanta Dos hombres y medio. Precisamente en la pelicula se ve en la tele un momento de la serie, que (por las circunstancias) supongo que se habra hecho a cosa hecha para la pelicula.
