Argumento: Hay un grupo de feriantes con un espectaculo en que alguien entra a un mundo de fantasia creado por sus sueños o miedos. Aparece una persona rara que resulta ser un demonio con la que el dueño hizo varios tratos para conservar la vida eterna. Parece que el ultimo afecta a su hija. Socorren a una persona que se estaba ahorcando debajo de un puente. El hombre no tiene memoria. Da nuevas ideas al espectaculo.
Pelicula fantastica bastante rara. De uno de esos directores frikis de cine friki. Menos conocido que Tim Burton. Pero mas experiencia porque formaba parte del grupo comico mas raro de todos los tiempos los Monty Python
Ademas es la ultima pelicula (extrenada un año mas o menos despues de su muerte) de uno de sus protagonistas: Heath Ledger. Supongo que sera por eso por lo que su personaje cuando pasa al mundo de la fantasia cambia de aspecto (por otros actores de lujo como Johnny Depp, Jude Law y Colin Farrell)
Toca el deseo de independencia de los hijos de una manera que no lo entiendes mientras ocurre en la pelicula. Porque todo eso pasa en el mundo surrealista que hay tras el espejo.
Como en toda historia surrealista hay que ir a verla con la mente abierta a todo.
